Killington Vermont
There is a mandatory meeting for those who are going to Killington on Thursday Nov. 19th. *pm in 117 Osmond
Our first trip this year is to Killington Vermont. We will leave from the BJC on Friday Dec. 4th (Time TBA- late afternoon) and arriving back at PSU late Sunday Dec. 6th.
The price includes a 2 day, all access, lift ticket to the Killington Village, round trip transportation, lodging and a free shirt.
We will be staying 2 nights at either mountain Green or the Pinnacle Condos in the Killington Village. They offer free shuttle rides to and from the mountain. It is about a 5 min. ride.
Our condo's will have kitchens, so we will stop for food about 30 min before we get to Killington. The rooms are about 4-6 people each. If there are people you would like to room with, only one person needs to email everyone's name to Anthony at apd5038@psu.edu.
If you would like to rent gear from Killington, a 2 day rental is $60 if you let us know in advance. You can rent a full package ski's or snowboard, which includes boots as well.

Quebec City, Canada
We are going to Quebec City again!
You must have a valid passport to get into Canada now!!!! No exceptions!!!
Non U.S citizens should check with their country to determine the travel document requirements.
We will leave from the BJC early on Jan. 3. The time will be determined at a later date, but in the past we have left around 2am. (Early morning on Jan. 3/Late night Jan.2.)It should be about a 13-14 hour bus ride, assuming there are no problems at the boarder this year!
We will be staying in the Hilton hotel in Quebec City. They are typical hotel rooms which fit about 4 people per room. The hotel is about a block from the Old City and 3 blocks from all of the night life. There is a grocery store less than a block away as well as many restaurants around the city. We will ask you who you would like to stay with at a later date.
We will be going to Monte Sainte Anne and Stoneham. Our buses will take us to one mountain the first day, and the other the second day. The last 2 days we typically have one bus go to each mountain. If I remember correctly, the bus ride is about 30-40 min. to each mountain. It is a good idea to be alert to the times the buses leave the hotel in the morning and the mountain at night. They are likely to be your only means of transportation to and from the mountain. I believe the mountains close around 4pm every day.
We normally get a schedule of events/itinerary from our travel agent when we get there. There will be many evening events that the itinerary will highlight. It will be college week when we are there, so there will be a lot more American college students there also.
The Price is $560. It includes everything except food. One lift ticket will get you all access to both mountains. We are staying 5 nights at the Hilton and 4 days on snow.
For more info about the mountains check out their web sites below:

If you drive to State College just before the trip, and you do not have a parking space available for that week, we have been able to get parking passes near East halls for everyone. Also notice that we will be getting back late Friday night/early Saturday morning before classes start. For those of you who live in the dorms, they most likely won't be open when we get back to State College. You may need to look for a place to stay for that day, people with apartments are normally accommodating for those days.
Other Trips
Tussey Tuesdays: Every Tuesday, the club goes out to Tussey Mountain, located only 10 minutes from State College. On Tussey Tuesdays you can come out and ride with the team and officers, and we even hook up rides. If that isn't enough, get some lessons from our team! Check out the forum for more info when Tussey is open.
Throughout the season, there will be other trips that come up, such as Roxy Ride Day (a clinic for girls riders) and PSU Open. Check out the site and forum regularly for updates.
